Amanda Lopez
Amanda Lopez is 11 years old and lives with her parents in Cornelia, GA. Her father, Edgar Lopez, who is a mechanic by trade, lost his job. Edgar moved on his own from Cornelia to Lyons, GA, on November 17, 2019. A few days after moving to Lyons, GA, Edgar began to work on a farm planting onions. After a few months, Edgar returned to Cornelia to rejoin his family on February 28th, 2020. Not long after Edgar returned to Cornelia, Amanda’s mother found a job at a hotel in Atlanta, GA. The entire family moved together from Cornelia, GA to Atlanta, GA on March 26th, 2020. A MEP recruiter interviewed Amanda’s parents on July 15th, 2020.
